Minneapolis, MN – April 9, 2021 (Newswire.com)
Zeus Electric Chassis, Inc. (Zeus) today announced a successful seed capital raise from new and existing investors. Zeus broke through their target of $500,000 for the seed round, closing with $674,000 invested.
“We offered small investors the opportunity to participate in this early stage of our fundraising process and could not be more delighted with the response,” said Zeus CEO Wayne Kugel. “Since unveiling the prototype for our first all-electric vocational work truck in January, we’ve generated tremendous interest. Going forward, we remain focused on executing our business plan with integrity to deliver sustainable results in this rapidly growing market.”
The seed funding round, led by Silicon Prairie Capital Partners, was a private placement limited to friends and family investors. Zeus plans to continue fundraising with a Regulation CF crowdfunding campaign in late April that will be open to all who want to participate. The proceeds will enable the Company to prepare for upcoming work truck builds and fund the expansion of sales and marketing efforts.
“The Zeus team has accomplished a tremendous amount over the last five months. Zeus is a North American supplier of reconfigurable, zero emissions work trucks. Completing this seed round has provided the funding needed to realize our vision of becoming the leading zero emissions work truck solution provider.”-Ken Smith, Board Chair.
