Zeus Electric Chassis: Leading the Charge at 2024 NTEA Work Truck Week

March 15, 2024

The Zeus Z-19 enters the medium-duty market as the most capable zero-emissions chassis-cab available.

It was an action-packed week in Indianapolis for NTEA’s Work Truck Week 2024, where Zeus was proud to debut its re-architected Z-19 class 5 all-electric work truck. The event, held at the Indiana Convention Center from March 7-10, hosted a record-breaking 14,885 attendees with professionals from across the work truck industry gathering to see the latest and greatest.

“It was a landmark occasion not only for us, but the industry at large,” said Zeus CEO, Dave Stenson. “We were elated to present our new Z-19 in the CM Truck Beds booth, where we were able to highlight the future of work truck chassis and upfits.”

“Combining the new Zeus class 5 all-electric truck with our best-in-class bodies allows zero emissions fleets to see the vision electric work trucks are working towards, said ATW Truck Equipment Vice President, Joe Lewis. “We’re excited to be a part of this revolutionary shift in commercial trucks.”

With its dual RWD fully integrated e-axle system, 800V electrical architecture, and 150+ kWh of energy from a dual-pack LFP high-voltage battery system, the Z-19 enters the medium-duty market as the most capable zero-emissions chassis-cab available.

Our Smart Chassis™ technology, customizable upfit switches, and a digital 12.3″ instrument cluster make the Z-19 not just a vehicle, but a comprehensive solution for zero-emission fleet goals.

Strategic Partnerships and Production Milestones

We are excited to announce the start of production at Edison Manufacturing in Port Huron, MI, with deliveries expected in Q4 2024. Our supply chain is substantially U.S./North-America based, and we have forged agreements with proven, long-standing medium & heavy-duty equipment dealers & distributors.

Our upfit partners are working with us to co-develop truck bodies that exceed customer needs, coming loaded with technology and feature integration that will accelerate your work force. Our display unit featured a CM Truck Beds vocational body with an Inventev power export package, allowing for unparalleled utility.

Service and Support

Our locally-based service response model includes mobile service platforms staffed by Zeus-trained technicians. We are committed to meeting or exceeding industry standards with our warranty, and our vehicles are HVIP eligible and have been granted IRS incentives.

Cost-Effective and Incentive-Driven

We understand the importance of total cost of ownership, which is why the Z-19 is designed to be competitively priced, cost-effective to operate & maintain, and is further accelerated by regional & federal incentive structures. Zeus is HVIP approved, with full EPA Certification, CARB EO, and updated HVIP approval in process for our market-entry model year.

This year’s NTEA Work Truck Week was not just an opportunity to showcase our products, but also a platform to drive the conversation on the future of work trucks.

With the Z-19, we aren’t just participating in the market—we’re leading it.
