Zeus Electric Chassis at UK COP26 Global Climate Summit Pre-Meeting on Harriet Island in St. Paul

Local MN business leaders and politicians met and made brief remarks regarding efforts to reduce carbon output leading up to the UN Climate Change Conference UK 2021. Representatives attending included; Consul General Alan Gogbashian, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, and prominent business leaders representing companies such as Land O Lakes, Ecolab, 3M, and many more.
Zeus was invited by Jan Bauer, Consul @ UK Government Office Minneapolis/St. Paul. Representing Great Britain & Northern Ireland in the Land of 10,000 Lakes to bring our Gen II prototype to the event and answer any questions attendees had about our plans to create jobs and help reduce the carbon footprint of class 4-6 work trucks.
What is COP26?
COP stands for Conference of the Parties. Parties are the signatories of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) – a treaty agreed in 1994 which has 197 Parties (196 countries and the EU). The 2021 conference, hosted by the UK, together with our partners Italy, in Glasgow, will be the 26th meeting of the Parties, which is why it’s called COP26.
